Specification :

Selleys Pro-Spec Flexi-Fill is a durable, flexible acrylic gap filler for interior and exterior applications where joint movement causes rigid fillers to crack or fall out.

Features :

• Water-based - It is easy to use, and cleans up with water before it has dried
• Flexible - Capable of joint movement of +/- 10% of joint width. Ideal for use where slight joint movement occurs and where conventional fillers will crack and fall out.
• Paintable - Can be overpainted with oil or water-based paints after the surface has firmly skinned (approximately two hours after application).
• Sag resistant
• Non-staining - Will NOT stain building materials
• Good resistance to weathering

Applications Surface :

• Sealing gaps and joints where slight movement is anticipated (less than +/- 10% of joint width).
• Between window or door frames and the wall.
• Along skirting boards and around cornices.
• Between bench tops and tiles.
• In corners or between the wall and ceiling or anywhere shrinkage or movement has caused rigid filler to crack. 

Application Instructions :

1. Surfaces to be sealed must be thoroughly clean and free from dust, grease, flaking paint and old or crumbling caulk.
2. Cut nozzle supplied at an angle and to the required opening. Cut end off nipple on cartridge, fit nozzle and insert into suitable caulking gun such as the Selleys Light Speed Caulking Gun.
3. Extrude a bead of product with steady pressure, pushing caulk ahead of the applicator nozzle. This method will force the sealant into the crack and smooth the surface at the same time. The sealant can be tooled with a wet finger or knife if desired.
4. Allow surface to skin firmly before painting. If oil based paints are to be used or if gaps are large, allow sealant to set for 48 hours before painting.

Limitations :

• Not recommended where significant joint movement occurs, such as gaps between tongue and groove boards (Use No More Gaps Timber Floors) or weatherboard overlaps (Use No More Gaps Exterior & Weatherboard).
• Not suitable for sealing around bathtubs, kitchen sinks and in shower recesses. Use Selleys Sealants for these applications.
• Not suitable for areas of continuous water immersion or in constantly damp areas.
• Selleys Pro-Spec Flexi-Fill should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C.
• Not suitable in those applications where joint movement is in excess of +/- 10% of joint width. Use the appropriate Selleys Silicone Sealant for such applications.
