Product Description:

Davco Davelastic 98 is a flexible polymer additive designed for use with Davco’s cement-based tile adhesives, ideal for fixing ceramic tiles, marble and natural stones onto concrete, cement render, rendered brickwork surfaces or over existing tiles.

Usage:

• When mixed with Davco's cement-based tile adhesives, it can be used for fixing ceramic tiles, pavers, marble, slate and natural stones onto concrete, cement render, blockwork, rendered brickwork surfaces or over existing tiles, for wet area eg. bathroom, kitchens, swimming pools and spas.
• When mixed with neat cement and sand, it can be used as a bonding slurry for cement-sand render over uneven concrete.

Storage:

• Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged packaging in dry conditions. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Application Guide:

MIXING

As bonding slurry for rendering / screeding

• Always shake Davco Davelastic 98 container well prior to usage
• Pour Davco Davelastic 98 into a mixing container. Then, slowly add a mixture of cement and sand while mixing to a good brushable consistency.

As additive to Davco's tile adhesive

• Always shake Davco Davelastic 98 container well prior to usage
• Pour Davco Davelastic 98 into a mixing container. Then, slowly add Davco’s cement-based tile adhesives while mixing.
• Mix continuously in circular motion using a low-speed mechanical mixer until a lump-free, creamy consistency and uniform paste is achieved.
• Allow the mix to stand for 5 minutes. Re-mix for 15–30 seconds before applying onto substrate.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipments with clean water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.
