ADVANCECOTE MULTI PRIMER is a fast drying high quality water borne acrylic wall primer for both interior and exterior walls. It has good alkali resistance, good adhesion properties, good opacity and able to minimize the risk of efflorescence (mapping) on walls.

Application Details

• Application methods: Brush, roller or air spray
• Mixing Ratio (by volume): The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring For sealing new or bare surface thin up to 10% with clean water
• Thinner / Cleaner: Clean Water
• Dry to Touch: 15 – 20 min., depending on ambient temperature
• Dry to Overcoat: 2 hours
• Spreading Rate: 8 – 10 m2 / Litre
• Wet Film Thickness: 85μ
• Dry Film Thickness: 42μ

Surface Preparation

1. New and Bare Surfaces
   • New plastered surfaces must be allowed to dry thoroughly at least 28 days or less than 10% moisture content as measured with a moisture meter. All surfaces to be painted must be sound, dry, clean and free from oil, grease, dirt, mildew, releasing agent, curing compounds and other foreign bodies.
2. Previously Painted Surfaces
   • All loose or defective paint or powdery residues shall be removed by brushing and scrapping using a stiff fiber brush or high pressure water jet. Any area affected by mould, algae, lichen, moss and fungus shall be treated with TOA Micro Kill. Make good any surface imperfection with suitable weather resistant putty or sealant. Ensure surface is dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease or wax prior to application of paint. Porous surface with high absorption should first prime with Wallsila 800 or Wallsila 900 sealers.
