Application Surface : To maintaining desired texture of wood. It is NOT recommended to use Woodstain Matt on wooden floors or parquet floors.
Product Specification:
WOODSTAIN GLOSS / MATT is a specially formulated Urethane Alkyd base high gloss / matt enamel finish for protection of wooden surfaces. It has good water resistance, UV protection, anti fungus properties. It is fast drying and is easily recoatable. It is suitable for both interior and exterior wooden surfaces where maintaining the texture of wood grain is highly desirable.
Application Details
Application methods: Soft hair brush painting
Mixing Ratio (by volume): The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring
Thinner / Cleaner: White Spirit
Dry to Touch: 30 mins., depending on ambient temperature
Dry to Overcoat: 3 – 4 hours
Spreading Rate: 15 – 16 m2 / Litre
Wet Film Thickness: 40 – 50μm
Dry Film Thickness: 20 – 25μm
Surface Preparation
- New Wood
- Surface generally must be clean, dry and free from oil, dirt, wax, grease or other contaminants. Recommend to test color on wood before decide the shade as final color shade depends on the type of wood applied. If gum is presence on surface, it must be clean by lacquer thinner. For recoating, the surface must be rub and clean.
- Previously Painted Wood
- Previously painted surface should be thoroughly rubbed down using suitable sandpaper and then dusted off.
