Application Guide:
STEP 1: Substrate Preparation
Concrete: Clean, dry, free of oil/grease and loose particles. Concrete age must be 3–6 weeks. Prepare by blast-cleaning, scabbling, or grinding.
Timber: Clean, free of grease/oil and loose particles. Prepare by blast-cleaning or grinding.
Steel: Clean, free of grease, oil, rust, scale, and rolling skin. Prepare by sandblasting and avoid condensation. If not bonded immediately, apply one coat of PENTENS E-008 epoxy primer (~0.3 kg/m²) to prevent corrosion.
Surfaces must be level, with steps or formwork marks ≤ 0.5 mm. Remove dust with an industrial vacuum.
STEP 2: Mixing
Stir component A in its original container. Add component B to component A.
Mix with a low-speed electric hand mixer (≤500 rpm) for ~1 minute until uniform. Avoid air entrapment.
Pot life begins when A and B are mixed; it is shorter at high temperatures and longer at low temperatures. Mix smaller portions for extended workability, or chill components before mixing.
STEP 3: Mixing Ratio
Maintain a 2:1 ratio by weight (A:B). Always weigh components accurately for correct performance.
