Product Specification
SUPERSHIELD is an ultra-premium, 100% pure acrylic water-based paint formulated to provide at least 15 years protection for exterior wall surfaces. It contains Ti-Pure and Triple Titanium, the most advance technology specially designed to enhance durability and to reflect radiant heat up to 96.7% to keep home cooler and protects home with an all weather resistance properties. It also has excellent alkali resistance, superb adhesion, excellent dirt pick-up resistance and has special self-cleansing properties. SuperShield is the ultimate exterior paint that protects your home from extreme hot and humid tropical weather.
Application Details
- Application methods: Brush, roller or air spray
- Mixing Ratio (by volume): The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring For sealing new or bare surface thin up to 10% with clean water
- Thinner / Cleaner: Clean Water
- Dry to Touch: 20 – 30 min., depending on ambient temperature
- Dry to Overcoat: 2 hours (maximum indefinite)
- Spreading Rate: 9– 10 m2 / Litre
- Wet Film Thickness: 90μ
- Dry Film Thickness: 30μ
Surface Preparation
- New and Bare Surfaces
- New plastered surfaces must be allowed to dry thoroughly at least 28 days or less than 12% moisture content as measured with a moisture meter.
- All surfaces to be painted must be sound, dry, clean and free from oil, grease, dirt, mildew, releasing agent, curing compounds and other foreign bodies.
- Previously Painted Surfaces
- All loose or defective paint or powdery residues shall be removed by brushing and scrapping using a stiff fiber brush or high pressure water jet. Any area affected by mould, algae, lichen, moss and fungus shall be treated with TOA Micro Kill.
- Make good any surface imperfection with suitable weather resistant putty or sealant. Ensure surface is dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease or wax prior to application of paint. Porous surface with high absorption should first prime with Wallsila 900 sealer.
