Product Description:
SikaCeram®-850 Design is a 2-part, epoxy floor / wall tile coloured grout dispensed using a double side-by-side cartridge. It has a smooth glossy finish which provides a durable chemical resistant surface for demanding applications and high cleanliness requirements.

Grouting tiles for the following interior residential and commercial building applications:

Shelf Life and Storage:
- 18 months from the date of production.
- Product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
Application Guide:
- Surface Drying Wait Time : ~3 Hours
- Pedestrian Traffic Wait Time : ~24 Hours
- Full Traffic Wait Time : ~72 Hours
(Research temperature condition : 23 °C ± 2 °C. Higher temperature will reduce waiting time, and vice versa)
Application Steps (refer to video):
Pre-Application - Mixing
Step 1 : Unscrew the cartridge cap and pull it out
Step 2 : Screw on the static mixer nozzle
Step 3 : Place the cartridge into the application gun
Step 4 : Pump gun at least 2 times until both parts extrude as a homogeneous color. Do not use this material
Step 5 : Release the gun pressure and clean the static mixer nozzle opening with a cloth
Application without masking tape:
Step 1 :
- Check adhesive has fully set before grouting.
- Clean the joint to remove any dust or dirt before grouting.
Step 2 :
- Make sure two components are blended well.
- Extrude Sika Ceram 850 into the joint so it comes in full contact with the sides of the joint to avoid air entrapment.
Step 3 :
- After application, smooth the grout with a metallic ball to obtain a smooth finish.
Step 4 :
- After 6 to 8 hours, remove any excess product on the tile with a sharp scraper.
Step 5 :
- Use product within 20 minutes otherwise charge the mixing nozzle.
