Product Description:

Sika Reemat Premium-120 is used as reinforcement with the liquid applied waterproofing membrane. The randomly oriented fibers within the mats give maximum multi-directional tensile strength to the membranes while allowing them to remain highly elastomeric.

Usage:

• Waterproofing reinforcement on flat roofs, balconies, terraces and etc.
• For roof with many details and complex geometry
• For total or partial waterproofing reinforcement
• For general detailing works and other general waterproofing works in both new construction and refurbishment project
• Repair of old waterproofing membranes

Application Guide:

Step 1:

• Apply sufficient quantity of the coating material by roller/brush/spray onto the substrate to throughly wet Sika® Reemat Premium-120.
• Roll in Sika® Reemat Premium-120 so that there are no bubbles or creases and apply the next layers of coating to achieve the required total film thickness.
• Overlap Sika® Reemat Premium-120 by at least 50 mm at all sides.
• At borders to other waterproofing membranes overlap by a minimum of 100 mm.
• After surface preparation and priming there are two basic stages of laying Sika® Reemat Premium-120:

Step 2:
Apply sufficient coating material to the area to be reinforced using a brush or roller.

Step 3:

Immediately lay the precut lengths of Sika® Reemat Premium-120 reinforcement onto the wet coating and roll to ensure it is embedded into the coating.

Step 4:

Then apply subsequent layers of coating to the required total film thickness.

For Large area/embedment

Apply sufficient coating material onto the substrate, working on 4–6 m² at a time. Lay Sika® Reemat Premium-120 onto the wet coating and roll to ensure it is embedded into the coating.

Then apply subsequent layers of coating to the required total film thickness.
