Product Description:

Sikagard®-703 GroutSeal is an low viscocity emulsion, ready to use, silane / siloxane combination based, water repellent impregnation design to deeply penetrate to any hairline cracks in tiles joints / concrete.

 

    Usage:

     

    For making tiles joints / building surfaces water repellent and protecting against water ingress.  

     

    Features / Advantages:

    • Product in aqueous phase with strong water repellent capability
    • Penetrate deeply into tiles joints / building surface to provide water resistance properties
    • Treatment is usually invisible not changing the substrate aspect
    • Improve resistant to dirt pick up and reduces fungal and algal growth
    • Can be over coated with suitable paints and coatings
    • Ready to use
    • Water based environmental friendly

     

    Shelf Life:

    • 12 months from the date of production.

     

    Storage:

    • Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +40 °C.

     

    Application Guide:

    • Waiting Time / Overcoating :
      • Can be overcoated with water / solvent based polymer paint.

      •  

        For polymer paint, wait at least 5 hours before apply the paint.

    • Curing Treatment :
      • Sikagard®-703 GroutSeal does not require any curing but must be protected from rain for at least 3 hours at +20 °C.

    • Consumption :

      • On concrete and mortar : 0.15–0.20 kg/m²

      • On porous material : 0.30–0.50 kg/m²

     

     

    Application Steps (refer to video):

    Step 1 : Application

    Apply Sikagard®-703 GroutSeal using a low-pressure spray gun, brush or roller, in a single layer from top to bottom, taking care not to let the product run.

     

    Step 2 : Cleaning of Tools

    Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.
